Probably missed it by two questions (or one of the router sims).

They changed up the router sims again. I had one that I haven't seen any
info posted on yet. This is most likely the one that killed me.

Keep on studying!

I'm using an actual hands on lab at TechSkills (not just the RouterSim)

How much time did you spend cramming for the exam? Not enough. You have to
treat the testing center as a war zone. You got to be ready! The subnet and
sims aren't that hard. If you spend enough time cramming, you should of
passed. It a drag to pay twice for the test. I haven't failed an exam yet
mainly because I refuse to throw away money. It's a war zone to me.

TechSkills pays for me to retake any test up to five more times.

Subnetting wasn't the problem, got 100% in that area.

You can't take it five time. If you have to take it more then twice, you
better start thinking about changing careers. Last I remember, after the
second failed attemp, they make you wait a few months. Of course I didn't
have to worry about that, but if I did that would be a huge waste of my
time.

I heard that it is not unusual to fail the first attempt. I guess I will
find out tomorrow.

Hi,

I'm a CCIE with 5 years of experiences on CISCO products ( there is o needs
to be CCNA in order to be a CCIE), when I joined a training partner to
become an Instructor I've been asked to pass the CCNA in order to be allowed
to teach.

I've passed with 91%, that mean that I was wrong with 9% questions.

In tests you have
a) VERY EASY QUESTIONS
a) VERY EASY QUESTIONS
a) VERY EASY QUESTIONS
a) VERY EASY QUESTIONS

I'm a CCIE with 5 years of experience (CCNA is not neede dto become a CCIE)

When I become a trainer I've been asked to pass the CCNA in order to be
allowed by Cisco to teach

I've scored the CCNA with 91% ==> this means that I was wrong to 9% of the
questions

In Cisco tests you have :

10% VERY EASY QUESTUIONS
30% EASY QUESTIONS
30% NORMAL QUESTIONS
20% DIFFICULT (OR AMBIGUOUS) QUESTIONS
10% VERY DIFFICULT QUESTIONS (ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO ANSWER CORRECTLY)

Due to the minimum scoring required to pass there is no room for luck, and
you must study the "student guide" in detail before.

1- KEEP IN MIND THAT QUESTIONS ARE EXTRACT FROM THE STUDENT GUIDE

2- PLACE YOURSELF AS THE MAN WHO HAS BEEN ASKED TO PRODUCE THE TEST : you
see a slide : imagine youself some possible questions

3- DURING TEST : go fast with easy questions, do not loose time with
impossible questions, but take the necessary time for all others ...

Good luck
