Cisco 2507 Router for CCNP CCIE lab?
|
|
|
| Hi guys
One more question. Does any of you have an experience with 2507 router?
It's has 2 serial and 16 ethernet hub port. My understanding is that I can
only use one of the ethernet port as a routable interface. Please correct
me if i'm wrong. Could you also tell me if this router is suitable for CCNP
and CCIE lab.

| You can use this router on your lab just like the tipical 2501.
And you're right, you can only use one of the interfaces as routable. The
real thing is that you have one ethernet interface attached to a 16-port
hub. You can plug on of the ports of this hub to your switch (if you do that
with more than one, spanning-tree should work !!!)
Cheers.
