Router simulators...how do they compare to the real thing?

| Can anyone please tell me how using router simulators (like
Routersim and Boson) compare to practicing with actual Cisco
routers and switches? My employer is trying to save money on
my cert training by just buying a sim, but I assume it would
be much better to practice on the real thing and I'd like to
try to convince him of such. Are the simulators, in fact,
inferior and why? All feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

| Try this web: www.r1r2.com. Read the instruction there.
You can practice with real routers for free. Free access, just telnet in.
