| I have a few questions about the CCDA:
1. Is it a hard exam? What's the passing score?
2. Is it worth pursuing?
3. What recommended readings are out there since I am going to self study
for this one?
Thanks,

| It is harder than the CCNA in my opinion. As far as being worth
pursuing, it depends on what you want to do. I know that it was after I
got mine that I started to get calls for jobs. As far as reading
material, Cisco has a good book called "Top Down Network Design" by
Priscilla Oppenheimer. They also have a new study guide out, but I
can't comment on that one. Todd Lammle also has a guide out for it.
Both of these books I can vouch for.

Thanks for the advice. I think im going to go ahead and do this one before
going on to my CCNP. I'll try the Lammle books since I really liked his CCNA
book.

I would recoment "Top Down Network Design" also. It is probably the
bible of design.
