| I would like comments on a CCNP lab I have put together.
Routers:
Each router is running IOS 12.2
IP/IPX/DLSW/ISIS/IPSEC/FIREWALL/Everything.
Cisco 2503 Router
(1) Ethernet AUI Interface
(1) ISDN Basic Rate Interface
(2) Synchonous Serial Interfaces
Cisco 2507 Router
(1) Ethernet Interface with 16 Ethernet RJ45 Ports [This router has a
built-in 16-port hub.]
(2) Synchonous Serial Interfaces
Cisco 2524 Modular Router
(1) Ethernet AUI / RJ45 Interface
(1) ISDN Basic Rate Interface Slot
(2) Synchonous Serial Interfaces Slot
Installed Modules:
Integrated NT1 for ISDN Basic Rate interface
5-in-1 module for Serial Interface 0
Switches:
Cisco Catylist 1924C-EN
Cisco Catylist 5000
Module Ports Model Serial # Hw Fw Fw1 Sw
------ ----- ---------- --------- ------ ------- -------
--------------------
1 2 WS-X5009 003168380 1.8 2.1 2.1 2.4(5)
2 12 WS-X5213 003625302 1.0 1.4 2.4(5)
3 24 WS-X5010 002672183 2.4 1.1 2.4(5)
4 24 WS-X5010 003617907 2.4 1.1 2.4(5)
5 24 WS-X5010 003626073 2.4 1.1 2.4(5)
I think this should carry me through the CCNP / CCDP exams, I may need
to add to this for the CCIE.
I would also like to know from anyone who has recently taken the BCMSN
exam what the passing grade is currently. I have seen reports of 755
but they were not current. I need to take this exam before the end of
January so this information will help me know when I am ready for the
exam.

| I am looking into a 7500 series router with RSM4 to allow real MLS.
What else would you suggest for going beyond the CCNP/CCDP?

Trust me....you don't want a 7500 sitting in your room. It's too loud,
too big and simply doesn't matter when it comes to studying.

| Yes CK, but I have just gotten it put together and will be using it for
several years. I will probably keep the equipment anyway as I just
started my own consulting firm in upstate NY.
