| Hi, all. I was just wondering. Has anyone besides me found this exam to be
exceedingly hard? The last one had a lab that I'm certain was incorrectly
done, and I cannot see why it is the only exam I've ever taken where I
failed it 3 times.
Any recommendations on books to read as well? I've read the Sybex book
(Todd Lammle) about 15 times, and I'm wondering if there's something else I
should be reading

| If your speaking about the tacacs+ server scenerio, it might seem like it was incorrect at first, but it isn't. It's just a unique situation that's not configured like you would normally configure the ip for a tacacs+ server. If you have a question about it, email me and explain it to you.
Lammle's book doesn't cover Router MC, and I know the SECUR test I took had a number of questions concerning this. I used Boson test #1 and it helped out. I also used the following link:
cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/ps3994/ products_user_guide_book09186a
008014f15d.html (url word-wrapped)
It's a big PDF file, but concentrate on Chapters 1, 4, 13 and appendix C.

| I found the Sybex book for Secur has a lot of configuration examples and
practical info, but did not have enough info on concepts to give me a
satisfactory understanding on harder stuffs like IKE, CA, IPSEC
I used mostly Osborne (more concepts, less config examples than Sybex), a
lot of Cisco Web site for research on topics like router MC, configuration
examples, and Boson test to find your weak spots.
good luck...
