| If I have 2 routers and 1 host attached like this.
Host1 ---------E0-> Router1 <-S0----S0-> Router2
Host1: 192.168.0.2 Router1S0: 192.168.1.1
Router1E0: 192.168.0.1 Router2S0: 192.168.1.2
I enable default routing so Host1 can ping Router2 and vise versa, which
works.
Host1 can ping Router2S0, but why can't Router2 ping Router1E0.
Thanks.

You need to know how to get to your destination, but you also need to
know how to get back. Router 2 doesn't have a route for 192.168.0.x
subnet.

| It did have a route to it, and guess what I tryed it on another simulator
and it worked!!!
I AM SICK AND TIRED OF ALL THESE SIMULATOR VENDORS WHO NOT ONE OF THEM KNOWS
HOW TO MAKE A PROPER SIMULATOR THAT BLOODY WORKS!!! ALL ITS DOING IS
CREATING ALOT OF CONFUSION BETWEEN CCNA CANDIDATES!! PLEASE IF YOUR
SIMULATOR DOES NOT HAVE FUNCTIONALITY DONT SELL IT!!!!!!

| I feel your pain, bro.
What simulator/version are you using?
Has anyone found an objective review of test and lab simulator products? One
can find reviews of other commercial software from games to anti-virus but this
is something that seems to be missing from the Cisco test preparation arena.

| When you asked you question, you should've mentioned that you were working
with a simulator, not actual routers. You question didn't make much sense
because if you can ping one way, you should be able to ping the other way.
2500 routers are so cheap now that it doesn't make any sense to buy routing
simulators. They are all very buggy.

| The Boson 5.12. It lets you build complex networks, but crap functionality.
