Author Better Terminal Emulator than Hyperterminal in XP?

Hello,

I am a newbie so my questions will be very very basic. I'd like a good
terminal emulator to use instead of HyperTerminal in Windows XP. I'd prefer
not to set up a Linux box to get more features. Can anyone recommend a good
program? I'd love something with a doskey like feature since I make quite a
few typos.

Thanks

TeraTerm....even has ssh I think. Pretty nice and FREE!!! If you want to
pay, the only way to go is SecureCRT from www.vandyke.com .

Why not a LINUX box...they're always fun and full of FREE FEATURES!!!

The real version of Hyperterminal can be downloaded from Hilgraeve.
It has the bugs fixed and is free.

I was looking at that but it says it is for Windows 2000 on their web page.
Does it include a doskey like function?

Thanks

Why not use something like securecrt - search on www.google.com for it. Very
good piece of software indeed

Putty - nice and free.
Tera Tera - nice, free, has macro language
ZOC www.emtec.com Not free, but has extensive macro and REXX support.
Lot of people like SecureCRT, but since it doesn't support X mouse
behavior (highlight to copy, right click to paste) I don't use it.

The first three listed do support X mouse behavior.
