I may be posting this in the wrong group but here goes anyway. I am
attempting to set up a Cisco 675 running CBOS v 2.4.6. According to my
local ISP I have to have rfc1483 enabled with the VPI 8 and VCI 35. The
commands I am using are:
set int wan0-0 disable
set int wan0-0 vpi 8
at this point I am receiving
"Error: invalid VPI...must be between 0 and 3"

In reading from information I found i understand that in CBOS versions 2.3
and earlier the VPI count was 1 to 4 however in later versions the VPI count
was 1 to 8.

Any help would be appreciated

Your 675 has no need of your VCI/VPI pair. Once you set your
brouter for bridging your ready to go. I think the commands are

"set bridging rfc1483 enabled" and then
"wr"
"reboot"

The ATM Virtual Circuit Identifier
and VPI are only significant on the ATM link between the ISP and
the DSLAM.
