I see this is crossposted. For those of us in the certification
group, we have beat this horse before (maybe not to death, but we beat
it pretty good). It got ugly. So I respectfully ask that those of us
in this group not repeat the performance. For those in the other
groups, I only request that you keep the discussion to yourselves and
remove alt.cisco.certification from the list of groups when you reply.
If we want to participate in the discussion, we can always pop over to
the alt.politics.imigration group.

Thanks.

Hey, Bernie...

I was over at Certification Zone, and I noticed that one of the authors of
some of the tutorials was Anlee Hines...

It was kind of bizarre to see her name there...

She quit "to write books." Supposedly "her writing is in demand." I
feel sorry for those who believe that (both the readers and the
publishers). I don't know anyone that worked closely with her that
was ever impressed with her knowledge. Like a good veneer, she was
good at presenting an image of expertise (like say on a PKT), but
there was little underneath that. Heck, she pretty much knew what was
on the FR Expert and she still failed it. I know a lot of people that
were amused to see her humbled.

She has a book too...

The Chronicle is now a Hearst paper, they bought it and dumped the
Examiner.
