| Hi there
We have a 2611 router with firewall software v12.0(7)T on a leased line.
We want to setup a Windows 2000 VPN server (pptp) and contact that server
from the Internet through client pc's.
When we add the following lines we get the message: verifying username and
password, but it stops there.
we are not getting through!
access-list XXX deny ip host [ROUTER IP-ADDRESS] any
access-list XXX permit icmp any host [ROUTER IP-ADDRESS]
access-list XXX permit icmp any host [VPN SERVER IP-ADDRESS]
access-list XXX permit tcp any host [VPN SERVER IP-ADDRESS] eq 1723
Any idea what we are doing wrong? How to setup a l2tp connection as well
through the router?
