Author 350-001 retiring?

I just read an online review of Cisco's CCIE Routing and Switching Exam
Certification Guide

and the review said that 350-001 is retiring July 31, 2002...

Is this true? I can find no reference to this fact on Cisco's web
site...

The revised 350-001 will be introduced on August 7. See What's New in the
CCIE section of the Cisco web site.

Yes it is true. New exam will be 150 questions and 3 hours.

I will dig up the email cisco sent out pertaining to the change. I believe
its Aug 7 though? Have to check on that.
