I have a virtual-link in OSPF, routes are showing up in a SHOW IP OSPF
DATABASE command, but they are not getting into the routing table... any
idea why?

Are you using authentication in area 0? If yes, did you configure
authentication in virtual-link? Is your virtual link UP?

Yes.

Yes, the same md5 with the same password.

Yes.

Interestingly enough, as soon as removed the authentication, the routes were
injected...

Hmmm... Another interesting note is that my config was right... (I think)...

I had normal md5 authentication on the transit area, and I used the same
authentication, with the same key number and password, as the ... area
password... Then I added a second key, so that it would use it, if the first
was bad...

Could it be a requirement that the keys be different???

Most likely, you had a trailing space in your password.
