| Here's the verbiage from the latest pronouncement:
"The existing DCN course will retire on January 6, 2003, and the
existing DCN exam #640-441 will retire on March 5, 2003."
What you need to do is register (soon) to take the CCDA and pass it
not later than 03/05/2003. Then register for and pass the CID. My
guess is that the current CID will be retired by mid/late 2003. Your
current CCNP credentials qualify you to sit for both the CCDA and CID
exams.
