| Are there any MCT for .NET trainers who monitor this
board? Did I post to the wrong location?
Take care,
Ken

| I'm a .NET MCT....
To answer your question, things are a bit slow right now but are starting to
turn around nicely. There is a good level of demand for GOOD .NET trainers.
Like anything I suppose, it will be fairly tough getting your first few
gigs, after that, you should be OK.
All of Mark's advice in the "Considering getting MCT" thread was bang on and
applies to dev trainers as much as the IT pro gang.
The biggest favour you can do for yourself is Network, Network, Network. Go
to TechEd and other major events were MCTs hang out, get to know "the gang".
I'd say 80% of my training comes from another MCT (normally one of the IT
pro guys) calling me on my cell and saying "I'm here at this client and they
are talking about needing a dev trainer next week. Are you available?"
It is doable, but will require a lot of pounding the pavement to start with.
Regards,
Rob.
