I NEVER asked about the "Train the Trainer" course!
You are right I did foolishly mention it. Sorry I commented on it.
Thanks for trying to inform.

The question was and my problem STILL IS the MOC course requirement.
The MCT cert program requires that you attend a MOC (Microsoft
Official Curricululm) course at a CTEC in addition to "Train the
Trainer"....
They want you to see exactly how and MS official course is SUPPOSED to
be presented. They don't care WHAT MOC course you take but it MUST be
at least 3 days long AND at a CTEC.
This usually works out to be at least $1200-$1500.
The idea about "auditing" a course is great but I haven't been able
to find one that would go for it. They all want MONEY. Might be able
to take it for HALF peice but that is still $600 or more buck.....
Guess the MCT will have to wait until I get bucks up to take some BS
course as required....

Thanks again.

I ended up taking a three day course that I was interested in; the MSF
Essentials course to fulfill the requirement because I did not want to pay
the price of a 5 day course. Perhaps if you cannot find someone to let you
audit or barter with by teaching for them for "free" afterwards, perhaps you
can get the most bang for your buck by taking a three day as opposed to a 5
day course you actually care about.

It is hard when the funds are low. I originally tried the same route you
are, but had no luck so finally bit the bullet and took the three day MSF
course; which if you're a developer is a good class to take...

Good luck...

You could find a CTEC in another country where the price of the airfare plus
the cost of the course would be significantly lower.
