I need to type essays using MS Word. I haven't a clue
how. Is there a manual on how to set margins, center
heading, everything. I need this now, no time for a 6
week class. Any and all help will be appreciated.

The help that ships with Word should be sufficient for your needs. You just
need time and patience to read it. If you want to spend more money, check
out the "Step by Step" book from Ms Press.
