| What is the estimated time spent on travelling. How much are MCTs averaging
in terms of income. I am an MCSE in Windows NT and 2000 and want to see if
it is worth pursuing the MCt avenue.

| I spend about 60% of my time travelling, with regard to how well the market
is, that really depends on where you are and what you teach, if all you can
teach as the standard core classes then your not going to make a living from
it, if you specialize then you can make good money, you will also have to
build a reputation with the CTEC's.

| I have almost got my MCT. I keep hearing from CTECs that they hardly ever
contract out. How true is this?
Peace,
Keith

| Hi Keith,
Its becoming more common, but if you have a specialized area then the CTEC's
will use you as they don't have their own staff instructors to cover the
course.

| Well, in Russia (I am from Russia) There are no problems to find job as
MCT... But oftenly MCT works as consulters, experts or journalists... In
such companies like LUKOIL or UKOS...
MCT at CTEC get about 1000-1500$ (these money are very good for Moscow, it
is a rather good salary), but MCT that works as consulter or expert can get
more than 2000$...
