Sony Micro Vault USB 2.0 seen as a "security device"

After docking/undocking my micro vault it is seen as a "security device". XP and 2000 tries to locate the driver but none can be found and as a result I cannot "see" the device and not read any of the data on the usb device. Any idea's?
