Certification - Asking any advice

| I want to give my programming career a boost, make myself
more marketable and make more $ - I am not Microsoft
certified yet. I feel like I have done a little of
everything and a lot of nothing - from designing front-end
applications to administering/programming the backend
database. I would like to focus on one thing.
I am posting this here because I think I would like to
focus on being a database administrator and would like to
know your good/bad experiences as being one and is it the
best paid out of the other certifications? (IE: MCSE?
MCSD? MCAD?)
Any suggestions?

| Regarding which certification pays the best, check the MCP salary surveys:
http://www.mcpmag.com/salarysurveys/
I think you'll find that MCSD pays the best on average, but that's just an
average and there are many exceptions in both directions.

| Given your background, I would recommend you start with MCAD. You can
always take 70-300 later if you desided to get MCSD.
here are some info.
