Database version question
|
|
|
| This question may not belong in this group but could
someone answer for me real quick. After Access 97 came
out. What is the next version? Is it 2000 or XP or is XP
and 2000 the same thing.
I have developed for 8 years in access but left the
industry in 2000 and did not keep up as you can see. A
company want sme to sub contract with 2000 but I only have
97 so I need 2000. I can get XP if it is the same thing.
Thanks again

Hi Troy,
I'm not an access person, but as far as I know the version of Access in
Office 2000 is Access 9, the version in Office XP is Access 10 and the
version in Office 2003 (the latest version, came out in October 2003) is
Access 11. New MDBs in all three versions default to the Access 9 format.
