Author Advice on next test

I need to choose my final exam to study for.

I've passed both of my SQL Server 2000 exams, plus my distributed visual
basic. My background is more in development than in networking or managing
windows. I've had NT Server classroom training but my Win 2000 Server
experience is limited to managing my SQL Servers at work. I've been thinking
about studying for the 70-215, but now I'm wondering if I should jump ahead
and pick a Windows 2003 Server exam, since I'm starting at square one in
either case.

Any advice would be appreciated.

agree with Ray, take 2003 as your final exam.

if you go for both you can continue towards mcse certification also and
claim your sql server exams as electives on the mcse certification.

Hi joe,

If the requirements of ur company is windows 2000 then go for 215 but not
then go for window server 2003.
If your paying for it, I suggest you get Windows Server 2003.

Hope this helps.

take the 215 and then go for the 292 and 296 upgrades.....
you will then be an MCSE w2k and w2k3 mcdba and an
mcsa2003
I didn't regret it. You will have a bunch of reading and
to do though.

MCP/MCSE2000/MCSE2003/MCDBA2000/MCSA2003
It also helps if you work with the technology.
I am taking on Security next.

Good luck!
