| Hi Guys:
If anyone answers my question, I would greatly
apprteciate it. I have about 5 years of sql server
experince including development and administration. Is
It worthwhile for me to pursue this certification?
Once you are certified, do you have to recertify yourself
everytime new version of sql server comes?
I understand that one has to pass 4 exams to get
certified. Do you have to pass these exams in any
particular order? If I go for this certification, I am
thinking of Data Warehousing elective first. Last
question, what material should I use for Data Warehousing
elective?
Thanks a lot

| I agree with Chris on going for the cert, however, I would wait for
Yukon(next version of SQL Server) warehousing exams, hopefully MS will have
them...

| Hi:
Thank you for replying. Can I take the other core exams
now in sql 2000 and take the Data Warehousing exam when
Yakon comes. Will the certificatioon still be valid?
Also do you need to recertify after certain period of
time?
Thanks

| It should be, at some point the 2000 exams will be retired but instead of
waiting for all of the Yukon exams, your plan sounds solid to me.
