| Thanks Lois,
I'm wondering about test prep material. You mentioned in
your thread you used a transender...was it useful ?
I'm a programmer (5 + years) with lots of TSQL, I getting
ready to take 229 for my MCAD/MCSD.

| Sorry it has taken so long to reply, but I was at the Tec-Mentor
seminar in San Diego all last week. Lots of "slam sessions" and a
class on the upgrade tests from MCSE/MCSA 2000 to 2003. Lots of
interesting people too. I plan on taking those two tests to upgrade
my mcse and mcsa to Server 2003 so I am installing it on my home test
network as I type this.
Transcenders are very usefull (at least to me). The tests are similar
in difficulty to the real thing and ask you questions on the same
subjects. At the end of the test, you get an evaluation based on
where you scored high and which areas you were weak on. The answers
are also explained in detail so you understand the reasons behind the
answers. I use them as a readyness test and have also printed them
out and studied off of them.
I also had to take a class, set up a home lab and studied from several
books to prepare since this January was the first time I have ever
seen a relational database, let alone have any SQL 2000 experience.
It was a struggle.
It should be much easier for you :-)
