| Are there any MCDBAs here who have taken or are planning
to take Team Database exams/certs? Any opinions on what
Team Database offers and where they're headed? (See
www.teamdatabase.com if you're not familiar).
Thanks in advance,
Andrew Taranto

| Quote from their website:
"All Team Database certification exams should be pretty easy compared to
most vendor DBA exams."
Also, they started taking on charter members (2000 max of them) June 3rd
2002, and at this moment in time you can still become one. (Don't rush to
sign up ;-))
The latest news item on their site is more than 6 months old, and there is
no sign of any industry, professional or academic backing.
So in my opinion it is a waste of money and a dead end.

| Yeah, thinking about it, given that they haven't responded
to an information request I sent several weeks ago to
info@teamdatabase.com, I should probably assume there's
not much to 'em; at least for the moment...
Best,
Andrew
