what is the difference between MCDBA
and Microsoft SQL certification?

MCDBA (Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) is the certification for administrators and developers who work with Microsoft SQL Server. Thus they are two different names for the same beast. A rose by any other name who still need a license from Microsoft or something like that.
