| I know it's been posted before, but I want to ask it again...
How many questions?
How long?
What score passes?
Did you get an adaptive exam? What legally an you say about it?
Is it harder to pass transcender than the real thing? (transcender wants
850)
Thanks!!!

Yes it has, many, many times.
If you take the trouble to do a search through this ng at
news.microosft.com, you will find the answers in about five seconds.

| Alan - buddy - no reason to get so pissy...
I did do a search and found "a couple" of dated hits... None that answered
all my questions though. Did you search through all my questions on the
post?
I was looking for "recent" experiences as I understand that Microsoft
changes things periodically.
But thanks for your kind suggestion on the proper use of newsgroups!

Not getting pissy..

Yes. The answers regarding time, number of questions & passing score,
as you have found out, have been mentioned in the ng.

Things can change. However 229 as been out for about two years, and
the time, score & number of questions remain the same (according to
the posts).
I don't believe microsoft will be changing any exam to an adaptive
format as it would appear that format has been abandoned.
There are again plenty of comments which 'legally one would say about
it' in this group. However comments of this type can be somewhat
misleading, i.e. "I think it's really easy", "I think it's a real
nightmare", "Too many questions on Security", "Not enough questions on
security" Really all the information you need to know about what to
expect in the exam (i.e. question topics) can be found in the exam
prep guide.
As for transcender, a bit too expensive for me.
>But thanks for your kind suggestion on the proper use of newsgroups!
No problem & good luck.
