Hi,

I just spent about an hour looking over the Q&A for this newsgroup -- I hope that in six months I will be able to provide the same quality of advice.

Currently, I have three PCs at home:
1) 1.7 GHz with 500Meg RAM, Win2k
2) 1.0 GHz with 500 Meg RAM, Win2k Adv Server
3) 3.3 MHz with 64 Meg RAM, Win 2k

They are tied together with a 4-port Linksys Router/Switch and the server is configured as a domain controller.

In order to best study for the 70-228, 70-229, and other associated MCSE/MCDBA courses I would appreciate some advice on how to set up a small home network with what I have. All machines are partitioned and ready for dual boot.

I am thinking I need at least two servers and one client -- How close am I?

Also, I would like to practice tape backups, etc -- are there cheap tape drives out there?

Thanks in advance,
David.
