| I passed 70-215 today and achieved MCDBA :-)
I had 55 questions, 180 minutes. There were questions about absolutely
everything.
Note: if you have simulations keep in mind that once you did something you
cannot make changes as you do with normal questions if you change your mind.
I made this mistake with a faulty HDD in a RAID5 and I was not able to fix
it so I missed that question.

| Congratulations!
I'm taking the 70-215 this week to complete my MCDBA as well. I had all the
other exams from the MCSD and SQL Server so it seemed like a no brainer to
do one more.
Is the exam adaptive now or is it a fixed number of questions? Did you use
the Transcenders for a final review?
Thanks...

| It's not adaptive. Yes, I used Transcender.
The new thing to me was the simulations where you get something like a
"Computer Management" interface and you have to solve the problem as you do
it in the real world.

| Thanks for the feedback... I'm just sitting down to practice with the
Transcender tests. I went through the Transcender flash quizzes which were a
helpful memory jogger.
After I get this one out of the way, I need to start on the new .NET exams
for the updated MCSD.
Did you do the VB or C# track?

215 didn't look to tough to me and I'm, not really an expert in Windows
2000.

Go to the MCP secure site and notice that you can get a voucher for free for
70-300 because you are a MCSD of the old Visual Studio 6.0 track.
> Did you do the VB or C# track?
I'm a C++ developer so it was easier C#. I do not like VB.

| Thanks for the tip on the 70-300 exam. I was just up there the other day and
didn't even notice that promo.
Out of curiosity, besides hands-on development experience and MSDN, what
materials did you use to study. Did you use the MS Kits and Transcenders?
Thanks...

I used MS Kits and Transcender for both for 315 and 316. I took 320 in beta
so no MS Kit or Transcender.
For 320 I used two books ASP.NET Step by Step and Building XML Web Services
for the Microsoft® .NET Platform by Scott Short.
