Author Creating an SQL training lab in my home

Hi

I am attempting to become a MCDBA.
I want to learn and experiment as much as I can with SQL-
Server 2000 on my home computer.
I have a powerfull home computer but I is not a full
server (ie multidisk, RAID configured etc).

Because this is for my own training - all issues important
to a 'production machine' are largely irrelevant - I don't
need fast performance (if it takes 10 seconds to run a
querry that's ok).

So on a Pentimum 4 2.0 with 512 DDR ram with a big hard
drive:

Which version would give me all the features that I need
to pass the MCDBA tests and fit onto a single hard drive
and run a instance of SQL Server?

What size should the hard drive capacity be - and what is
the MINIMUM disk space that SQL server can be installed
in ?

Any other suggestions on how to create a learning
environment for my self at home would be appreciated.

Just to add to Chris's suggestions, you can pick up SQL 2000 developer
edition for $50 and it has all features.
