I'm using the Sybex books for 228 and 229. In all honesty, I failed
228 with a 722 the first time around but passed it with 855 (out of
about 733 required) three days later. I found that the Sybex book
didn't do a good enough job of covering analyzing log files. Other
than that, if you study the material well, it will get the job done.

For the Sybex 229 book, which I'm about 2/3 of the way through, it has
a lot of minor errors. If you are at all familiar with SQL Server you
can pick them out easily. If you are new to SQL, you will want some
other materials to work with. We'll see how this test goes in a few
weeks.

Once this test is over, I'll probably update my webpage
(http://delbert.matlock.com/compcert.htm) to include a few more
options for study material on 228 and 229.

As always, good luck!

Any UCE that does make it through will be reported to your service provider
and your service provider's service provider. Forgers will be hunted.

Not necessarily.

It is common practice for publishers to post book corrections on the web.

This is the errata site for the Sybex 70-229 book

MCSE: SQL ServerT 2000 Design Study Guide
By Marc Israel
J. Steven Jones
ISBN: 0-7821-2942-0

http://www.sybex.com/erratatracking...nForm&ISBN=2942

You can find similar sites for other books with a little effort on Google
