| I just took and passed the 70-228 exam. Don't know the score as they
only tell you "PASS" OR "FAIL".
Anyway here is my assessment on the 70-229 and 70-228 exam.
I passed 70-229 earlier with a score of 909. I have read posts which
compare 70-229 and 70-228 and many posts says that the latter is easier,
etc.
IMHO, you can't really compare the 2 exams because the material and concepts
are way different. It really depends on the person's background. For example
I am stronger from a developer/programmer perspective therefore 70-228 was
a lot more difficult for me.
But I am very glad that I got to study for 70-228 because I learned so much
more
"behind-the-scenes" stuff that I ignore all the time during
development/programming.
And its good to know the administration side of things.

| Salaam, and congratulations Ali,
Would you mind sharing what study material did you use? Specially for 229.
Sincerely,
Tariq

| Thanks. For 229 I used the Transcenders and kept going back to BOL (books
online), a great source.

| I share your opinion.
I passed 70-228 Sunday and 70-229 few months ago and I think 70-229 was
easier for the same reason: I am a developer. Regarding 70-228 I didn't like
much to learn that install, admin, etc stuff, but whatever, it is gone! :-)

I just passed the 229 today and was very suprised. I too am a developer and
was expecting a much more difficult test after reading most of the posts in
this ng. But I thought 228 was harder than 229. I also thought the 229
could have been a lot more difficult. This is the only test I have taken
that I knew for sure before I hit the End button, that I had passed. Or
Maybe I just got an easy one.
