| Has 70-229 recently become an adaptive exam? How are adaptive exams
compared to traditional multiple choice exams?

| I took it last tuesday (5/7) and it wasn't adaptive (44 questions).

| Thanks. How did you find the exam? Tougher than 70-228?

| yeah, it was a fair bit harder than 70-228. I took both SQL tests as
electives when I got my MCSE, and 70-229 was the hardest second only to
70-216.

| I guess I must be backwards! Every post I see says 229 is harder than 228,
but I felt that 229 was eaiser. In fact I scored the highest of any exam on
229. I think I find it easier because my background is in IT development,
and I have done alot with RDBMS.

| I thought admin was much easier than implemenation. The amount of
information for 229 is just so much more. I passed it with a 900+ so it
wasn't all that bad but I found that studying for the exam, even with all my
experience, was much more painful than admin. Mainly I didn't know the XML
stuff yet and it gave me a perfect opportunity to do so.

| I took the 229 on 5/4 and it wasn't adaptive. 44 questions. Passed it with
909.
Now I am off to take 228.
How is 228 compared to 229?

Not great deal of difference, to me any way.
I thought some of the question in 228 should have been in 229 and vice
versa.
