| I have been very curious regarding how many SQL 2000 MCDBA's there are.
I have searched on Microsofts site and the secure MCP site. Does anyone know
the answer to this????

| 54,282 MCDBA's according to the latest MCP Mag. This does not disclose how
many are SQL 2000 vs SQL 7 however...

I think MS actually says that ALL current MCDBAs are "MCDBA on Microsoft SQL
Server 2000". Yes, regardless of whether they've passed any SQL 2000 exams
or only SQL 7.
No, I can't think of anything stupider at the moment.
