| Does anyone know whether an elective exam in one certiifcation (e.g. MCDBA)
can be counted in another certification (MCSA)? Thanks

|
| As answered in fourteen other threads in this newsgroup - yes.

| Yes.
There is a big overlap between the two certs.

Is there a matrix (or some other display) that shows which exams
apply to which certs? I am envisioning something that makes it
EASY to see which exams can be applied to more than one cert.

| I am not aware of such a matrix, but it isn't too difficult to looks at each
of the certifications and notice which exams apply to both.

| Try the Microsoft MCP site, in the public area. Also check the Training and
Certification site. URL below:
http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/default.asp
Pay attention to "Core" for cross certs.
