would like to know which the weight in the Market, in practice clearing...

I think it depends on experience. I had 0 experience in any IT, got
certified, got my first job, got laid off 6 months later for being clueless,
and have now been @ my second job for 15 months. It got me both jobs. But my
experience is how Im able to keep this one.

Im a 7.0 MCDBA so actually it was all 5.

did they start you off at six figures? how large was and
is your team?

i'm curious because in oct '99 i know consultants with
some 6.5 aptitude were getting $75/hr in seattle.

Ha ha ha. Thats funny. 0 IT experience. 0 programming knowledge. (not
required in 7.0) I was entry level. Not senior level. 0 experience is 0
experience no matter what cert you have. Yes I did the labs in Sybex Study
guides and they were great. But they give you the very basics.
