| I just rebuilt a computer with XP Home SP2 . When I went to check the
user accounts, I found this one "ASP.net" limited account. I have
never seen this before, anybody familair with this account as I did
not create it.

| I did a little research at microsoft and according to them it's a
legimate account.

| It's legit, but I believe that it is no longer necessary and is removed
by installation of the latest service pack for dot-net Framework.
[do not remove it manually]
