| Well I write the 2 tests tommorw...hopefully I pass. I've got the 2 exams
back to back, (2 hour block for each) so hopefully if I finnish the first
test in 20minutes, I don't have to wait an hour and 40 minutes to do the
second one
I've got 2 year Computer system diploma, and a 1year and a half on the job
network support experience. Plus went through a 2001 Mike Meyers training
cd thing, and the examcram2 guide...

Well good luck...

Make sure you mention that to the testing center personnel when you arrive.

Given your background, you are probably more than ready to "sit the exams".
Good luck and let us all know how you make out!!

| Wrote the tests. Started at 10;15, and left the building at 11:15...so yes
they did let me do both tests one after the other instead of waiting for 2
hour period, so that was nice.
I found the tests very easy. I was a bit suprised, the OS was primarily XP,
2000, and some 98. I thought it would have more 98.
As for the Core, I had 1 question on the IRQ of a COM 1, other then that, no
questions on knowing any other IRQ's or COM ports. No questions on CPU's,
and heavy amount of questions on scsi.
I got 623 on the OS, and 613 on the core.
I'm glad to finnaly have the A+, and good luck to everyone else!
Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas...
This hit a chord...mathematical nature. Ha!
My kids subscribe to Neopets, and the question of the week is a dandy,
requiring the calculation of the volume for 2 spheres and a cylinder
to get the answer. It is a word problem/scenario, so it isn't explicit
that that is what is required, so dear old Dad had to help. I hope I
got it right... :-)
Speaking of binary, hex, etc...
How is Christmas equal to Hallowe'en? Answer below...
Tom

| I was sweating the first test big time but i breezed thru it and i got a
better grade on the second test (os) its funny though because i dont even
work on computers in my job , im in sales . And my technical background
definitly helps alot ! So if you can angle it , i would definitly get a job
in a tech company as an account manager or something sales related . If you
have that apptitude of course ,
best of luck
