Disk Cleanup Hangs

| When running Disk Cleanup (Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Cleanup) the
program "hangs" and does not complete the task. Two hours after starting the process, there
is no progress. In the Windows Task Manager, my cpu usage is 99% (under CLEANMGR.EXE).
I usually have to terminate the program manually and also from the Task Manager. Does anyone
know how to remedy this problem?

You could try doing it from Safe Mode and see if that works.
