Hi all

I currently hold the A+ certification is this now obsolute due to the new A+
2003 exam that I have seen. Please let me know

They have just come out with new A+ objectives this past November. The
newer exams, 220-301 and 220-302, encompass newer technologies and have more
on Windows XP & ME. http://www.comptia.com/certification/A/objectives.asp
Your certification is lifetime and doesn't expire.

Whilst Jimmy is correct in saying that our exam pass is lifetime and our
qualification will never expire.

There is an "update exam" targeted at those who passed a while back and feel
the need to keep up to date.

I think it's possible to "retake" a newer version of the test, if that's
what you mean...Personally, I'd just study for another test..lol

Good point, there is probably little reward in constantly renewing
your A+ certifications, unless you work for some jerk who makes it a
policy.

I would go after Network+ and Security+ and consider the A+ a notch on
the uhm..resume.
