Check out the David Groth's Network+ book published by Sybex, not a bad
study guide for the exam.

Good luck,

P.S. Don't underestimate this exam, it's not the hardest but the questions
are poorly written.

I've taught a few Network+ classes and in each one I've used the David
Groth book from Sybex. My students have been very enthusiastic about
this book.

It's an excellent text with just enough "meat" to thoroughly explain a
topic without choking you with unnecessary details. Make sure you get
the most current version of the book.

Another goood book is from Tcat Houser. Check his web site out at
http://www.freesoftware.to for more information.

You may also want to check out the Microsoft Networking Essentials
Training Kit book in addition to a Network+ book.

Obviously, the Microsoft book will be biased, but Microsoft training
materials are usually thorough and to the point. Don't expect it to
entertain you with cartoons and autobiographical details.

Good luck!
