how can I reload just MS OUTLOOK?

| Hi all,
I must have virus or something, my outlook is acting weird, not sending when
I click on send, getting 2 identical emails of the same topic/person for
every email that comes in. I am currently using outlook express in the
meantime. How do I reload outlook off of the XP disc without reloading the
whole XP software?
Thanks

| Hi
Correct me if I am wrong, however, ins'nt Outlook part of the Office suite
and can be loaded or repaired from the office disk by it's self. When you
put the Office disk in it should ask if you wnat to reinstall or repair
parts of the suite.

| the problems you list can be caused by an empty or infected email that is in
your account on the ISP's computers. I've had it happen several times. Log
in via the WWW and delete all mail in the account. I know it sounds
absolutely nuts but it has worked for me on about 3-4 occasions.
If that doesn't work you can insert the office disk and it will give you the
option on Remove, Install, Repair. Try repairing. That should work but
still, if it doesn't, first remove office (or just outlook) and then Install
it again.

| Outlook is not part of Windows XP; do you mean Office XP?
Two-step process, 1st REMOVE Outlook, then reload it, leaving everything
else alone.
When you are done, go to the Microsoft web site and run "Office Update"
(like Windows update).

| That does happen; a single E-Mail which is corrupt "blocks" ALL of your
E-Mail. I usually have people use another E-Mail client (often
Netscape) to remove the corrupt E-Mail, web access could do it also if
you have web access.
