Heh. Good one, Nigel! But then, what red-blooded techie *wouldn't*
heed the siren call of The Beer You Eat With a Fork? ;-)
For the OP--yes, Mike does post here, but his tendency to spend months
at a time immersed in writing books makes his participation in
newsgroups somewhat sporadic.
If you should have questions about any of Mike's books, feel free to
post them here (you can ping me by name if you want) and I'll respond;
you can also e-mail questions, or any book errata, directly to me
("cindyc" on the doman "examvouchers.com"). For book errata, please
remember to check our web site's Errata page first!
Mike does check the Google archives from time to time when he's not
reading and posting to this group, so go ahead and post if there's
something you'd like him to see. You can also send him mail on
"michaelm" at the same domain listed above. If you do send e-mail,
please bear in mind that Mike's under deadlines at the moment for the
latest edition of his Network+ guide--but he enjoys mail from readers
and does his best to respond.
Cheers,
Cindy Clayton

I actually lied, somewhat...I have seen Mike Myers' name here many
times. It's a common misspelling. :-)

Thank you so much for the reply. I would very much enjoy the chance to talk
directly to the man who wrote the book I used to pass the A+ tests with.
Just curious, but what are the deadlines for the new book? I don't really
want to interupt his process so I will wait untill the book is complete.
Thanks again,
davemeek

You're quite welcome! As for Mike's return to the land of the living,
he should be emerging from the cave around the first of May, perhaps a
little later.
I believe the book is due to hit the shelves in July, but most of
what's left to do between now and then is up to us (the editors) and
the publishers. So, if you're interested in pinging Mike about
something, you might do it in May ... before the next huge project
comes along! :-)

If he sees his shadow, do we have 6 more weeks of winter? :-)
