Question on answering questions on test
|

| Hello, I have been studying for the A+ hardware test now and feel
confident that I am ready. Kinda confused though about something. On a
couple of the testing software programs I have used where there are
squares for choosing more than one answer, it will say to "choose all
that are appropriate" or something to that extent. But on other
programs it specifically says to "please select two" or "please select
three". Can someone tell me what I can expect on the test or what way
it does it??? I score alot better practicing when Im told exactly how
many to choose is the reason. OK thanks

| They will not try to trick you as much as you think...
you'll probably get things like
Choose all that apply:
(Choose three)
(Choose two)
If it does not specify how many, than it is usually one. And you can also tell by trying to select more than one answer, it wouldnt let you. | |

| So are all the questions in "checkbox format" where more than one answer can be selected? Or just some...... | |

| No..unless it specifies to choose all that apply or choose #, you will only be allowed to choose one. | |

One thing that CompTIA is still pretty good about is that the don't try
to trip you up with their tests.
If a question has more than one answer they will tell you how many they
are looking for, as in "Select the two that apply".
Now if Microsoft could be more like this.......

On the tests, the questions will state how many answers to pick. If
you answer too many, you will get a error warning. If you don't answer
enough, the REVIEW option will flag your answers as "incomplete"

| While they wont intentionally try to trick you (concerning how to answer a
questions) be CERTAIn that they wasnt only one answer (when they want one,
you will be unable to check two) or want all that apply. Read the questions
throroghly.
