| I've been using computers for a few years off and on -- mostly playing
games and browsing. I used MM's 5th edition and Measureup.com (both
were mediocre study aids imo). I started studying for A+ at the
beginning of the semester -- currently attending a CSU -- and finished
reading the MM book 3 months later -- read through it twice. All I
can say is ugh. I'm not pleased with a score of 575 but what can I
say. Except that some of those questions were so subjective that any
of the possible solutions could have been right -- finding the most
right solution was not easy. Anyways, the parts I know (w/o a doubt)
I missed involved portable systems and docking stations, GPFs, and
CMOS settings. There were, on the other hand, some ridiculously easy
questions regarding Ram and banks, IRQs, and CPUs (sockets #s and
such). I will take the 220-302 on Thursday.
