| PIII machine, Win2K, MS Intellimouse. Out of nowhere the cursor starts
acting weird. You go one way, it may go another. You stop, it stops, then
it goes left, right, up or down a bit then stops. It may also jump. I call
it a "happy mouse", but not very useful. Any comments on this problem ?
Thanks,
Sam

Try a replacement mouse, if that does not work then you may want to try
an updated device driver.

At home or at work? Do you have PCanywhere active, on that box? Is the
guy down the hall looking your way with a grin on his face? Is he
modem icon on the bottom right blinking? Is someone having some fun
with you.

Last but not least there are some viruses and Trojans that can cause this
type of behavior.
