Blue Screen in windows xp

| I keep getting a blue screen of death every so often. All my drivers are up to date and this is a message that I get: bccode: 10000050 bcp1:ba245498 bcp2:0-0000000 bcp3: ba24f498 bcp4 00000000 os ver 5.1 2600 sp: 1_0 product 768_1 c:\windows\minidump\mini071503
-01.dmp
c:\docume~1\localsettings\temp
\wer4.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml
My question is what does this information mean and what could the problem be if this will help at all. All software is up to date. Here is my system specs:
NORTON INTERNET SECURITY
WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION
AMD1.4GHZ PROCESSOR
WESTERN DIGITAL 200GIG HARD DRIVE
64MB RADEON 7500 SERIES VIDEO CARD
BASIC SOUNDBLASTER SOUND CARD
TDK 4XINDIDVD INTERNAL BURNER 420N
SHUTTLE KT266A AK31A MOTHERBOARD
512MB PC2100 DDR RAM
USB 2.0 PCI CARD
DVD ROM DRIVE
BASIC 3.5" FLOPPY DRIVE
ALSO HAVE 2 PRINTERS AND A CANON SCANNER HOOKED UP
MAGVIEW 19" CRT MONITOR
Any information on this would be of great help, been trying for a long time to get this fixed and nothing seems to be working. | |

| Goto http://support.microsoft.com/ and type the error code in search, that
may give you the answer.
Hope that helps.

| I am thinking that this could be the cause of all your problems. A 250 W
power supply is not near big enough to run and AMD of that size. as someone
else said, check the error code with MS, but really think abut the power
supply. I would suggest at least a 350, and be sure to get one that says
something about AMD. Not all power supplies are created equal.

| Does the computer BSOD on you at random intervals or is there a pattern that
you can see developing? After the BSOD do you get a message similar to
"this system has recovered from a serious error--it should also prompt you
to send the information to Microsoft so they can look at it. I recognize
the path you gave. It is almost an identical one that I seem to get
occasionally. The path--- c:\windows\minidump\mini071503
-01.dmp
will I think lead you in the direction that there is a promblem with the
paging file(at least on mine there was this problem). The paging file would
be written, but there would still be a flag stating that a paging file
needed to be written--and my system would Blue Screen and reboot itself. I
had to do a re-work on the paging file to fix it.
Best information I can give--do some research with the MS website
Knowledgebase and see if anything is there--but it almost sounds like my
propblem with the paging file.

| I am checking the paging system right now and I was thinking it might the power supply not being big enough. Most of these problems started when I installed the Radeon 7500 graphics card. It is updated to the lastest software but maybe with everything I have on my system this put me over the top as far as the power supply goes. Thanks for your help so far going to get this resovled soon. |
