I have been looking work in the UK
I found this agency thats looks just IT jobs but when I read this about A+
it just made angry !
http://www.permit.co.uk/

The CompTIA A+
The A+ is promoted as an internationally recognised qualification in Support
and aims to cover hardware, operating systems, networking and applications
software. In comparison to an MCSE, it covers much more ground but to less
depth. Some employers regard the A+ as a bit too easy!

well - A+ is too easy. A plain and simple fact, and unfortunately its worth
to am employer was devalued when they started those bogus adaptive exams.

Too bad it's all too true. I've talked to two hiring managers that would never
make the A+ a deciding factor in who to hire. The two I talked to rated
experience as top, CCNA or CCNP next, Computer Science or Information Systems
degrees third, MSCE and A+ dead last. One of them stated to me: "the A+ is a
good cert. if you want to work at Fry's Electronics". Any high school student
could study for and pass the A+. The problem with the easy certifications is
that there are far too many paper assholes now and the certifications are
devalued correspondingly.

The certification information on that web page is over a year out of date.

And no one has said that you should stop getting certifications after the
A+. I'm using the CompTIA exams to start a course of study into computer
security. Eventually, I'll end up with not only the "more respected certs,"
but also the field experience.
