| Hey gang,
I thought it would be interesting to see how many passed with Mike's
book(s). Also what version of the exam, it would be neat to see if there's
anyone lurking who took the original exam. I think we should all send Mike a
pint for every cert. we passed with his books .
As for myself:
- A+ with Mike's 2nd edition, 98 objectives (good old DOS and Win 3.1!).
- Network+ again 2nd edition, 98 obj.
Working on Server+ and Linux, unfortunately I'm stuck with other authors .

| I read Mike's All-in-One.
Bought vouchers for the exam from him and got 250 Q & A for each exam. 500
total. Did them all.
Also read other books (Jean Andrews, which includes 50 Q&A for each), Troy
Tech study guides, research in Webopedia, Microsoft KB, FOLDOC, Google and,
yes, Test King's braindumps.

| anyone got a copy of mike's book for sale?
I am taking the A+ exam again soon and am only using the fourth edition book
from CompTIA.
Or should I be ok with just sticking with the one I have now?
Thanks

| Why are you taking the exam again?
Did you fail the first time?
If so, you must prepare even more strenuously.
I used Mike's 4th. edition but also many other study methods, which I
detailed in other posts.
I forgot to mention Encyclopedia Britannica, among the slew of methods that
I used.

| A+ with Mike's 3rd edition and the A+ passport by Mike, 2001 objectives. I
passed both exams on the first try.
Mike has the best books going and he makes it much easier to understand.
