| I am finishing up my associates in computer science in 2 weeks and
this summer i would like to start by getting my A+ certification. Can

| I would suggest the A+ Training Guide 4th ed. by Charles Brooks. That book
help me to pass the exams. The book is broken into two parts just like the
exam, which allows you to focus on one topic at a time.Although I chose a
book that wasn't the norm in this newsgroup, but I found it to be the best
for me. I also have an A.S in Computer Information Systems and a B.A in
Computer Science. Been there done that! Congrats on your A.S degree. Good
luck!

The "All-In-One" study guide by Mike Meyers always comes highly
recommended. You might also want to look at the Sybex study
materials. The book you pick really depends on your existing level of
experience and what type of writing style works best for you.
For those options and a few more, take a look here:

Good luck!

| The Mike Meyers book which I purchased is a wonderful well written
book that I like to use as a resourcce. For some people it might be
more effiecent to use a book that is split into the core and OS
sections.

you would like to start what?
I suggest you study accounting, calculus, C++, Java, physics and prepare
yourself for the bachelors, as having an AS(not an AAS) means you need to go
for it.
